# GeNext MedEd Foundation — Academic Integrity & Professional Conduct Standard

## Purpose
Defines expected conduct for learners, fellows, observers, faculty, mentors, reviewers, researchers, collaborators and institutional representatives participating in GeNext MedEd Foundation activities.

## Core expectations
Integrity in teaching, assessment, research and documentation; respectful professional behaviour; accurate representation of roles and credentials; confidentiality; appropriate boundaries; non-retaliation; disclosure of conflicts; responsible use of patient-derived and institutional material; compliance with applicable host-institution rules.

## Prohibited conduct
Fabrication/falsification; plagiarism; cheating or assessment manipulation; unauthorised sharing of restricted material; credential misrepresentation; harassment, intimidation or retaliation; misuse of confidential information; coercion; inappropriate authorship claims; deliberate concealment of material conflicts; interference with legitimate review or reporting.

## Digital conduct
The same professional standards apply to GeNext Connect, email, messaging, video meetings, online assessments, shared documents and social-media activity connected to Foundation programmes.

## Response
Concerns are triaged according to seriousness and domain. Immediate protective measures may be used where safety, privacy, evidence integrity or fair process could otherwise be compromised. Findings and actions must be documented proportionately.

## Relationship to other authorities
This standard does not replace employer, hospital, university, professional-council, ethics-committee, statutory or legal processes. Matters may be referred or coordinated where required.
